Brigadier (Ret’d) Martin Xuereb served at the Permanent Representation of Malta to the EU, as Malta’s Defence Attaché to Belgium and as Malta’s Chief of Defence from 2010 to 2013. He was also the Director of MOAS, a foundation engaged in providing Search and Rescue at sea in the Aegean and the Central Mediterranean. Today, Martin occupies the post of Director of Business Development at Hili Ventures, a privately held holding company of a diversified group. Hili Ventures owns Premier Capital Hellas, operators of McDonalds Restaurants in Greece.
