John Apostolopoulos was born in Athens. He studied BSc in Economics and MA in International Affairs, and he was for 40 years a finance consultant and member of the stock exchange of Athens. He was Director of the JPA Medical and pharmaceutical Athens until retirement in 2012. In 2012 he was elected member of the Task Force Health committee of New Democracy. From 2013 to 2015 he was Director to the Ministers office of Health. From 2019 to 2021 he was Advisor to the Minister of Tourism. From 2021 to 2023 he was Advisor to the Minister of Health. As of 2023 he is a consultant to the Deputy Minister of Economics. He is married with two daughters and four grandchildren.
